Once Upon a Time...

Grow deeply rooted in Mother Earth. Move out of your mind. Let your body sway. Find presence. Journey to Soul, whether on a walk in the woods, traveling throughout cities, or even doing dishes. Ask for guidance. Be curious. Feel interconnected. Practice deep listening. Everything visible and invisible speaks.

Our group begins with a centering and energetic practice of breath work and movement such as kuk sun do or chi gong followed by a brief meditation. All can be done while seated. Joni will tell a story each week to provide examples of what is possible. Then it is your turn, if so inspired. Allow a story to arise from your inner and outer senses, be it 10 words or a 10 minute tale. Share accompanying poetry, writings, and artwork inspired from these depths. Active story telling by all is not required. Engaged listening is enough.
